Bounce Rate Definition

Bounce Rate refers to the percentage of visitors to your website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page.

For example, if someone visits your website and lands on your homepage but leaves before clicking any internal links or visiting any other pages, this is a “bounce”. The higher the bounce rate, the more you’ll need to improve. An ideal bounce rate is 30% or lower. Anything above 40% needs improvement.
